about

Jimanekia Eborn is a Trauma Specialist, Consultant, Educator, and Speaker with nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of trauma, mental health, sexuality, survivor advocacy, media, and culture.

Her work began with supporting survivors and has grown into examining the many places trauma can show up — in relationships, organizations, athletic environments, communities, systems, and the stories we tell.

Jimanekia is the founder of Tending the Garden, a nonprofit supporting survivors from marginalized communities, host of the Trauma Queen podcast, and Co-Owner of CINTIMA. She also consults with organizations, universities, entertainment productions, and creative teams on trauma-informed strategy, survivor support, power dynamics, education, crisis response, and storytelling.
